Jacqueline Whiteside

Dentist

Dr. Jacqueline Whiteside is a dedicated and compassionate dentist who brings a unique blend of scientific expertise and patient-centered care to the field of dentistry.

Born and raised in the KW region, she completed her undergraduate education at Wilfrid Laurier University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. While at Laurier, she pursued research characterizing potential virulence factors produced by bacteria that cause periodontal disease. Her research later became published in the scientific journal Nature Communications. It was at her time at Laurier where her interest in the connection between oral health and overall health began.

Her pursuit of excellence led her to Western University, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Throughout her dental education, she embraced a patient-centered care and education philosophy, recognizing the importance of empowering patients with knowledge to make informed decisions about their oral health.

Dr. Whiteside is also an avid advocate for global oral health. She has volunteered annually for the Great Shape! 1000 Smiles dental project, providing free dental services to underserved communities in rural Jamaica. In her free time, Dr Whiteside enjoys going on hikes, watercolour painting, and playing the ukulele!

Cathy Bekhyt

Dentist

Dr. Cathy Bekhyt earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto. Previously, she attended the University of Western Ontario to study Medical Sciences.

Dr. Bekhyt advocates for providing comprehensive patient care built on the foundation of establishing strong, trusting patient relationships. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is committed to lifelong learning in order to provide the best possible care to her patients. While completing her dental degree, Dr. Bekhyt travelled to Grenada for a dental mission trip and aims to continue in outreach work and giving back to her community. She is currently an active member of the Ontario Dental Association and the Canadian Dental Association. She is also an Invisalign provider and implant certified.

In her free time, Dr. Bekhyt enjoys travelling, playing soccer & basketball, reading/watching gripping thrillers and spending time with loved ones.

Kali

Dental Assistant

Hello, I’m Kali. I graduated from Everest College in 2010 completing the Intra-Oral Level II Dental Assistant course. I am a Dental Assistant with a passion for making dental care a positive and comfortable experience for every patient.

In my spare time I like to spend time with my family and friends. I like to be outdoors as much as possible, you can find me on my paddleboard fishing in the summer and learning how to snowboard on the slopes in the winter.

Hi, I’m Racheal, I am one of our patient Coordinators. I have five years of dental experience, including a role as a treatment coordinator in orthodontics and clinical assistant. Beyond the dental world, I find joy in the company of my friends, family, loving husband and beautiful daughter. Whether experimenting with new recipes or staying active, my enthusiasm extends to creating a positive and comforting experience for our patients.

With almost two decades of dedicated service in the dental field, I am a seasoned Dental Receptionist, Treatment Coordinator, and Certified Level 2 Dental Assistant. My approach to patient care is rooted in empathy and effective communication. I understand the anxieties that dental visits can evoke and strive to create a welcoming atmosphere. Building rapport with patients is not just a professional duty but a personal commitment to ensuring their comfort and confidence in their dental journey. Outside the dental practice, my world revolves around my family. Whether it’s capturing precious moments through photography, exploring new places together, or simply enjoying quality time at home, family is at the heart of my life.

I’m Rachel, an experienced dental assistant with 16 years of expertise, bringing a wealth of knowledge to the dental field. My commitment to patient care and passion for dentistry defines my career. Outside the clinic, I’m a proud mother of two boys, finding joy in cheering them on as they pursue their passion for hockey. My dedication to both my professional and personal life reflects a well-rounded and accomplished individual. Beyond my dental work, I cherish spending quality time with family and friends, adding a delightful dimension to my vibrant life.

Meet Alicia, a dedicated dental hygienist who graduated with honours from Southern Ontario Dental College. Beyond oral care, Alicia is passionate about staying active, cherishing moments with friends and family, and spending quality time with her furry friends. Exploring new hobbies, savoring culinary cuisines, and discovering the latest in dental hygiene are some of her favourite pastimes. Alicia enjoys expanding her knowledge through continuing education courses. Her goal is to help patients improve their oral health and feel confident in their smile!

A proud mother of two daughters, she finds joy in family life and exploring new destinations through travel.

Meet Crystal, a dedicated dental hygienist with a passion for promoting oral health. Graduating from Niagara College with a foundation in Level II Dental Assisting, Crystal elevated her career by completing the Dental Hygiene program at St. Clair College in 2008. Throughout her entire professional journey, she has been committed to the dental field, providing quality care in Waterloo.

Beyond the dental chair, Crystal is an advocate for healthy lifestyles, constantly pursuing continuing education to stay abreast of the latest advances in dental hygiene. In her downtime, she cherishes moments with her husband, daughters, and two beloved cats. An avid cook, Crystal also finds joy in nurturing her extensive collection of house plants and gardens, creating a balanced and fulfilling life both inside and outside the dental practice.
